I’m proud to have been elected to the board of the British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy, which has just celebrated its 20th anniversary. The BSGCT brings together academic and industrial partners working towards gene and cell based therapies for the benefit of the public, often for rare diseases where there are few if any other treatment options. We had an excellent meeting at GSK in Stevenage earlier this year, and are looking forward to the next meeting, likely in Oxford, which I’m helping organise.
